As I have said in a previous post, I have been doodling since I was in middle school. I doodle all the time. However, I feel that over the years, my doodles have become repetitive. Because of this, I started taking a sketchbook class from Mike Lowery on Skill Share. (I am not advertising for it, I am not at all sponsored, I just wanted to give him a shout out.) It is a short, sweet, and to the point class. He gives you materials needed, what you will be doing, shows you examples, then you do your thing and post the results. I love it. I am doodling things I have never even thought of drawing. I did a whole spread of just aliens. I even did a doodle of myself. LOL His big message is to draw for 30 min a day. Doesn’t matter what you draw, just draw. He even gave 7 days worth of ideas to get you started. I am going to attempt to do the 7 days for now, we will see about 30. If you have any drawing ideas or prompts, please leave them in the comments. I know at about day 24 (if I get there), I am going to need ideas. Thanks and much appreciated. I included a picture of my self portrait doodle.
