I have been reading tarot cards for about 5 years now. I don’t read them for others, just for myself and occasionally my son. I keep a journal of what is turned that day and then reflect on what that card means for me. Today, I turned The Star, reversed. Now, most people freak out when they get a reversal of a card. Me, I just figured there is a reason for it. I use the book “Tarot: Mastering the Art of Intuitive Reading” by Theresa Reed. I am going to be honest. My memory stinks and I honestly can’t remember the meanings for all 70 something cards, so that book is my go-to for help. I may pick the same card twice in a month, and it means something different to me each time, even though I am reading the exact same meaning. That is what I love about tarot: it is insight for that exact moment. It isn’t perfect, but it is nice to get a heads up every morning when I turn. I only turn one card a day and 3 to start the week on Mondays. That is how I do it. Everyone is different. Oh, and today, The Star Reversed meant “creative channels are blocked.”
